Job Description
MANAGER OF AV INFRASTRUCTURE, STS, Sloan Technology Services, to establish AV Architectural Design Standards (25%) including define and enforce AV technical and operational standards to ensure consistent, scalable, and cost-effective infrastructure; regularly evaluate system performance and update standards to align with emerging technologies and industry best practices; pilot and integrate new technologies to address evolving business and academic needs; collaborate with the AV Events team to ensure ongoing optimization of AV systems; lead installation and maintenance of AV systems (35%) including oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of AV systems across 150+ spaces within 9 buildings, ensuring alignment with defined standards; coordinate with stakeholders to gather user requirements and prioritize outcomes through design-thinking methodologies; review technical plans, quotes, and vendor deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance; manage system testing, documentation, and training to maintain operational excellence; manage vendors and stakeholders (25%) including serve as the primary technical liaison between Sloan AV Services and internal/external partners and manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and other service providers to ensure alignment with MIT Sloan’s AV objectives.

Salary range: $84,545- $113,035 - $141,525, based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity. New hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
Must be able to work in person, in Cambridge MA.
