Job Summary

Michigan Medicine/The University of Michigan Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is seeking to add a faculty member to its Pediatric Rehabilitation Program.  The successful applicant will participate as an academic faculty with national reputations for their work with children with disabilities and adults with pediatric onset disabilities.  Our faculty practice at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, as well as the Pediatric Rehabilitation Center, a multidisciplinary care setting in Ann Arbor.  We also have outreach clinics around Southeastern Michigan, and a robust telemedicine practice.  Faculty are involved in inpatient and outpatient care, intrathecal baclofen pump management, and other spasticity-related procedures.  Academically, there are opportunities for teaching at all levels of medical education from students to fellows.  We have a robust research milieu which includes involvement in the Cerebral Palsy Research Network and Cure SMA.

Required Qualifications*

The ideal candidate would have an MD or DO degree and postgraduate clinical training.  They should hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical license in the State of Michigan as well as be board certified or board eligible.

This position is posted as Clinical Instructor/ Clinical Assistant Professor.  The rank of the selected candidate will depend upon the candidate's qualifications. 

Background Screening
