POSITION SUMMARY:

To lead Valley Rescue Mission in “Serving Christ in the Community”. To oversee the daily operations of Valley Rescue Mission with strict adherence to the Vision Statement. To assure sound business management of this Mission.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Education: Four-year degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience: A minimum of (2) two years in a managerial capacity, preferably with a non-profit organization which focuses on the needs of the underprivileged. Requires history of community involvement with civic and service organizations, experience as a public speaker, and experience providing Christian counseling. Prefer someone with experience working with social service agencies.

Special Qualifications: Mature Christian with a passion for evangelism among the underprivileged, strong organizational skills, excellent communications skills, basic understanding of finance, knowledge of retail operations, knowledge of fundraising strategies and donor relations unique to nonprofit sector, and extensive grant writing ability is required.
