Job Description:
The mission of the DISH Food Pantry is to Deliver Information, Sustenance, and Health (DISH) to the Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) campus community. The DISH aims to empower those in need to obtain resources so that they may focus on being healthy, happy, and successful at Bunker Hill Community College without the barrier of fighting hunger. The DISH Food Pantry is a student-driven and supported resource that is committed to being a safe, dignified, and stigma-free environment. The DISH Food Pantry aspires to alleviate the barriers associated with food insecurity to support student success at Bunker Hill Community College and to ensure that no one goes hungry because of a lack of income or access to food.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
- General familiarity with food systems (from food pantry and grocery store work, restaurant experience, etc.).
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse population.
- Valid MA driver's license.
- Comfortable driving a cargo van around the Greater Boston area.
- ServSafe Certified or willingness to take a Pantry Food Safety Workshop if hired.
- Bilingual in Spanish, Haitian Creole, French or Mandarin preferred but not required.
Additional Information:
Salary: $35.31 an hour at 18.5 hours a week. Part-Time Non-Benefited position.
This position is contingent upon funding approval. When funding is secured, the position will be filled during the Spring 2025 semester and the assignment will end by June 30, 2025.
