Department Summary:

Michigan Dining comprises twenty-one on-campus cafes and markets, nine residential dining halls, and four catering kitchens. Position Summary:

The Point of Sale Administrator oversees critical information technology systems supporting dining services, focusing on the point-of-sale (POS) hardware and software. This includes managing the cloud-based POS solution and the mobile application used by dining locations across campus. You will ensure seamless integration and communication between technology platforms, ensuring that all systems work together to support Michigan Dining's operational needs. As the subject matter expert for the POS system, you will play a central part in maintaining system reliability, troubleshooting issues, and improving system functionality. You will coordinate system updates, user training, troubleshooting, and working to ensure that the POS infrastructure aligns with Michigan Dining's broader goals.
