Senior Export Control and Compliance Analyst

Join Macquarie's Lending and Asset Finance team as a Senior Export Control and Compliance analyst. In this role, you will maintain a working knowledge of global trade controls applicable to relevant industries such as Semiconductor, Telco and mobility.

What role will you play?

On a day-to-day basis you will oversee any licensing requirements in coordination with the regional logistics teams, liaise with internal sanctions teams and external trade compliance counsel on export related matters and interface with original equipment manufacturers and other industry contacts. You will maintain a maintain a working knowledge of US, EU, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, and China trade regulations and ensure asset and jurisdiction classifications are properly evaluated and applied to each transaction. You will also perform data research and counterparty reviews in response to new/updated sanctions and ensure global equipment trading policies and processes (including checklists) remain up to date.

Salary range for this position: $100,000 - $140,000/Yr. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. The successful candidate may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. What you offer

  • Five to ten years of industry and compliance experience
  • Working knowledge of US, EU, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, and China trade regulations
  • Strong trade control knowledge across Semiconductor, Telco, mobility, or similar industries
  • Proven ability to work with and effectively challenge a broad range of stakeholders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, thriving in dynamic and fast-paced settings.
