POSITION SUMMARY
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement the organization's strategic plan including vision, goals, and objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the entire board of directors, providing regular updates on organizational structure, performance, and programs.
- Seek guidance from the board on future strategic program objectives, organizational updates, and critical decisions.
Operational Management
- Oversee daily operations across all departments, including program delivery, staff management, resource allocation, charitable gambling, and budget oversight.
- Ensure the organization, staff, and board adheres to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, as well as internal controls and bylaws.
Fundraising and Grant Writing
- Lead efforts to secure funding through grants, donations, and other fundraising opportunities, aiming to diversity and strengthen the financial health and sustainability of the organization.
Community Engagement and Outreach
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community members, local governments, nonprofit partners, and donors. Represent the organization publicly, continually advocation for its mission and policies.
Staff Development
- Lead, mentor, and manage staff, ensuring a high level of performance, morale, and professional growth to achieve organizational goals, while increasing community credibility as a non-profit employer of choice.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years of senior management experience; demonstrated experience of effectively leading and regionally and/or nationally scaling a performance and outcomes-based organization and staff; ability to point to specific examples of having developed and operationalized strategies that have taken an organization to the next stage of growth.
· Unwavering commitment to quality programs and data-driven program evaluation in a non-profit.
· Excellence in organizational management with the ability to coach staff, manage, and develop high-performance teams, set, and achieve strategic objectives, and manage a budget.
· Past success working with a Board of Directors with the ability to cultivate existing and future board member relationships.
· Strong marketing, public relations, and fundraising experience with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders and cultures.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills.
· Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, adaptable, and innovative approach to business planning
· Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people.
· Passion, idealism, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
This individual must have the ability to read and interpret documents in English to write routine reports and correspondence, and to speak effectively with volunteers, clients, donors, employees of LC4YF, employees of financial, bookkeeping and accounting companies and insurance company representatives.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and create and/or interpret spreadsheets and graphs.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This position may involve in-office work and include extended periods of sitting. While performing the duties of this job, this individual is also frequently required: to stand, talk and hear, use hands and fingers, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls, and to reach with hands and arms. This individual is also required to interact with a computer and communicate with peers and co-workers.
This individual must occasionally lift and/or move up to fifteen pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Extended computer viewing and keyboarding required.
This is a full-time position. Flexibility in fulfilling hours may vary, this individual must be available during the "core" work hours. Various evenings and/or Saturday work is required. Working remotely is exceptionally based on organizational needs.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
